Petone to Grenada Link Road Road Map

For reference, here is the old original  Transmission Gully proposals, showing pretty much this exact route — up the Eastern side of Takapu Valley — as “Option C”, that was blocked in 1990 by the Paliamentary Commissioner for teh Environment (and Transmission Gully sensibly forked off at Linden/Kenepuru instead).  Now they’re back building is by stealth in 2014 by tacking it onto the Petone to Grenada Road:

The Takapu Valley alignment was originally “Option C” for the Transmission Gully Project.
